    International game foods

    Game food in Laos... today

Came across a hunting party in Laos this morning having a cook up....

That will be smoked grilled fish
    smoked grilled squirrel
    Salted fish on bamboo skewer
    Bird of some sort
    Bird guts wrapped on stick
Wild honey... which I tried... sweet with a peppery afterburn.

As for the food... you seldom see anyone overweight in the country side, so would not take their food... that said I have inadvertently tried what I hope was squirrel on a skewer... I thought it was chicken when I bought it but the meat was a bit red and somewhat crunchy... I will stick to the worksite mess food prepared by the Indian cooks.

and the Thai Govt last month mentioned they wanted to ban the street food stalls. The world quickly went into an outrage and now it looks like they did a Trump move... i.e. soften their position on banning street food stalls... LOL
