    The other important issue with round vs square dehydrators is the airflow. Because square dehydrators flow the air horizontally they are way more efficient, meaning they dry the product way faster. There is also no need to rotate the shelves like a round style where you need to move the lower shelves to the top and vis versa part way through the drying process in order to get a nice even end result.
