    MaiMai food

    Hi i am wondering what everyone takes for food etc to the MaiMai cheers

    Every year its the same for our family: Homemade bacon & egg pie & a flask of coffee.

    On opening day, we go straight out (6am) no brekkie, have about 3 hours in mamimai then back for a huge 'heart attack' breakfast!!!!!! then back to the maimai...tradition eh, cant beat it!!!!!!!

    Port...for medicinal purposes only...we are a sick bunch so need lots. Always try and avoid being in the middle of a three man team when passing the bottle.

    We usually take everything with us and stay in MaiMai from dawn till dusk, we take the gas cooker coffee and had the freeze dried food but might have something different this year

    Normally take bacon and egg pie. Pumpkin soup. Coffee cake etc.
    Normally have a big breakfast @4.30-5. Then head down get decoys out and wait.

    Just realized a 3 person circle is a triangle

    My vote for a B&E pie with flask of coffee or one of Mrs D's piping hot venison pies straight from the oven.

    We stay at our opening day pond from noon fri to noon sun. We back the truck in and load up our hut behind the maimai with Port, heaps of speights, Steak, Bacon, Eggs, seafood chowder the latest deer is at the butchers so there will be patties, sausages and salami plus the wife's baking. We dont go without.
