No Room Left at the Inn, What to Do With The Minced Meat

I've had a Fallow Spiker Chilling Out in my fridge for most of the week.

Today, seeing it was raining again, I decided to break it down, saving the trimmings and flaps for the Mincer.

So I took this $60 Trademe special

    And did this

Then I packed it into some of these ready to be used for Mince, Burgers or Sausages

Then I went to put them into this but soon discovered there was "No Room Left at the Inn".

Luckily the freezer compartment in my beer fridge was empty.

I'm hunting again next weekend ....... Buggered if I know where I'll be putting any meat we bring home.

    cheers
    Pete

I cook it into meals then dehydrate it into pacs for my hunting trips. It stores in the fridge or in a cool place while it waits. Saves some freezer space.

    Your onto to it @Shootm

That's the problem in a nutshell.

I'm the only one in my family that eats the venison.

I think I need some more mates and I definitely need to fire up the BBQ more often.

    Cheers

Pete, Pete, Pete, the solution is simple................buy another chest freezer.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Eat the stack of hash browns in the front left corner to make room. Also, does a chest freezer like that struggle to freeze the meat when you dump so much fresh meat in there at once? Last time I got a half beast done, I asked the butcher let it freeze in his freezer before I picked it up, so that my 320L chest freezer didn't need to work hard.
