    Preferred manawatu processor for Salamis?

    Just looking for people's opinions on the best venison salami maker in the manawatu region? Seems to be a few options so just hoping to skip straight to the best lol cheers

    So what your trying to say is you've shot a deer

    I only have experience with homekill, where I used preston meat packers in Levin which seemed pretty good. No idea about his salami making abilities though sorry

    There was a bit of scuttlebug about Whariti meats not giving back what was given to them a few years ago. Turned out a friend of mine investigated and ran some DNA testing on the meat given and got back and it was the right stuff. The person complaining couldn't believe what terrible eating their homekill was, but had to admit that despite it looking like their cattle beast was a fairly good eater, it was not

    Waikanae Butchery has been good for me with venison and duck salami, kranskies and sausages etc.
    Terry who owner operates it is a great guy.

    either Wharite Meats or the guy Saville down at Otaki meats Otaki Beach , both do a good job
