Sadie casserole
Hi use this with just about any stewing meat, cook it in two hours if it good quality, if its chewy old shoulder with lots of gristle, put it in h slow cooker for 5 or more hours.
For 1.0 kg of meat:
1 diced onion
2 packets of Maggi oxtail soup (mushroom works too)
1 teaspoon of curry powder
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Pepper to taste (doesn't need salt - plenty in the soup mix
1 cup of apple pulp
Handful of sultanas (optional some people don't like them)
2 1/2 cups boiling water
Just put the whole lot (with the cut up meat) in a dish and cook!
