The Shizz for Venison in a crockpot.

This plus 400-600 gm of cubed, browned venison, and a half cupful of mixed veges in a crockpot for 10 hours.

Simple as, especially for a cooking noddy like moi.

    Delishimo.

Yeah, that’s my go to for beef and venison casseroles. Add onion, tin of tomatoes and 500g of mixed veges, job done

McCormicks? Slow cooker has some awesome recipes as well.

    Especially for venny shanks.

Great way to utilise neck, shoulder and lower leg meat.

    Larry is long gone.

I'm working through the meat I took off Gary.

It's been a pleasure experimenting with cooking venison.

Ok Mr Atkins, calm down. Suggest you substitute red wine for vegetables as per @outdoorlad.

    Happy now?

    Me too.

@kidmac42 it’s like people who put peas in a bacon & egg pie! It’s not bacon, egg & pea pie it’s farking bacon & egg.

I don't mind pea, but definitely not in B&E pie. The on going argument in our family is whether or not t put peas in a fish pie... I'm on the side of NOT.

There's always room for peas in any pie except apple.
