Thermomix oops...
We got given a fancy Thermomix a few years back as a baby arrival gift, for those that don't know it basically is a relatively gutless food processor that heats things so can make soups, mixes stuff with the right attachment fitted, steams rice and has built in scales.
So fast forward to tonight's effort, the wife set up the thing to chop up and cook pumpkin soup. I'm walking towards the kitchen in time to see it walk itself off the shelf it's parked on, flip upside down and spit the content of the mixing/cooking bowl out over the entire kitchen and out onto the carpet outside the kitchen. What a bloody mess...
Took a while to lick the floor clean, but it was a pretty bloody tasty soup. Still wondering what to do with the carpet haha... Carpet cleaner thing might get a workout shortly. 1st world problems!

Yeah never leave it unattended when it's chopping stuff up, it will walk off the bench :yaeh am not durnk:
Some bloody great recipes on it though, really good for the kids as they can just follow the steps and get pretty decent results.
I was skeptical when my wife bought ours but gotta admit it's pretty intuitive to use and actually pretty useful.

Ha, I keep saying that to my wife - keep looking when ya's cooking...
Unfortunately she's still getting over the Covid brain fog and her youngest offspring is busy being pathetic after the smallest little sniffle and a few days of high temperatures so the mother instinct won out again.
I cut up a bit of scotia offcut and made a budget fiddle rail and screwed it to the front of the shelf. Fall off now ya bugger...

Our friend with dementia uses 1 as it prompts her all the way through the recipe.
As for cleaning the carpet, get yourself a Lab

Invite some vegan carpet munchers around. Should be licked clean in a matter of seconds:omg:
