I bought some tofu. It was all of $2.60 on special.



After all the references to 7mm08's, chai latte's, and tofu on the forum, I decided that it was time to investigate.

I thought tofu was some kind of green vegetable like lettuce.

It actually looks like C4 explosive.

I worry.

I guess if I eat it, and then break out in hysteria/hives when I hold my CZ 75, I'll know that this was a bad move, and I have turned into a Labour voter.

Yep. It is as tasteless as hot water soup.

C4 is equivalent to British Army P4 or PE-4, a plastic explosive mix of four different bang substances, mainly the British-invented RDX. I'd not eat any, but it should be safe to fry a small amount out in the open.

Marinade it in soy, chilli, garlic, fry in a hot pan of oil til golden and crispy, semi edible

Could it be marinaded in gravy? if so, I think it could be rehabilitated as a food.

Um nope...and I need one because.....

Well i have to admit i have enjoyed it in a Chinese dish called ma po dofu. Pork, tofu, schezhuan pepper, chilli and other stuff.
You can't actually taste the tofu its more for texture rubbery bouncy lumps and it was bloody tasty but schezhuan pepper does funny things to your taste buds.
