Came across this on the internet today, looked too good not to share.
Here is what you need.
- Loaf of hard crusted Italian bread
- 3x Scotch fillet steaks
- Swiss Cheese
- 1 lb mushrooms, an onion and some bacon.
- Mustard
- BBQ/Tom sauce
- Salt & Pepper (to season)
Hollow out bread.
Cook that sh*t.
Shove 2 of the steaks in the bread.
Sauce the steak.
Add a layer of bacon.
Add layer of swiss cheese.
Stuff in as much of the mushroom and onion mixture as you can.
Then the other steak along with the juices from the pan.
A little more sauce.
Top off with more swiss.
Put the top of the loaf back on.
Wrap in butcher's paper.
Wrap in foil.
Put a heavy cutting board on top to squish it down.
Add weights and let it sit for 4 hours.
Take weight off.
Cut and enjoy.
