I have never owned or used a vac packer before so this is a numpty review.

It was a gift and while i haven't researched it Im picking it was from hunt fish.

Steak had spent 5 days in chiller and a couple more in the fridge so was a bit juicy.

Quick scan of instructions and test run on a tea towel and was good to go.

Bag cutting and sealing is a peace of cake.
You need to position steak in bag to best enable air removal as with any other method.
It pulled a vacum pretty well pushing the vac and seal button but i soon worked out if you push the marinate button first it vacs without sealing giving you a chance to manipulate the bag to get all the air out.
Then push the vac and seal butt twice to cancel and re vac and seal.
You want it on moist and normal for meat.
I double sealed the tops mainly out of paranoia that it wouldn't seal the wet end but it was all good.

Seams to do the job so far and the bags are very very robust, so should handle freezer shuffling with ease.

Time will tell but i like it so far.
