Thread: Vacuum packers for meat - Whats good one.

Hi All - after some advice as I'm sick and tired of throwing out a 1/3 to a half of a roll of vacuum packaging bag material because the little unit decides its not getting the right auto results.

I'm after one that independently seals the bottom of the bag without the vacuum being achieved. If I could find one like this I wouldn't have such a pronounced loss of bag material and be a happy boy.

Can someone point me in the right direction of a good unit for this?

I currently have a Sunbeam Foodsaver unit.
Any ideas?
