Venison steak how not to cook it!

The bag of back steak Id got out of the freezer turned out to be rump.
The missus had ordered one of those pizza stones off one day and it turned up today. Its actually about 10mm ceramic not stone as such.
Seeing as she is away at the mo I thought id have a play with it, into the oven on max for about 40min after reaching max temp to be sure it was as hot as it was going to get.
Warmed top elements just to be sure it didnt crack when I put it on.
lots of garlic salt on steak(I love that stuff)
    steak on

As soon as it went on I knew it wasnt hot enough, it didnt sear.
    Flipped.

It ended up reasonably tender but i know it shuold be much better from this animal and lacked the flavor of proper searing.

    I rate it a fail
Always one to try something new this one didnt pay off

How do I clean this so it looks like its never been used before the missus gets home tomorrow?

Well clearly the bloody thing doesn't work so you must consult the problem solving flow chart.

VC does. It is just that his Missus picks them out and tells him which pair to wear.

VC clean it the best you can and if it still looks messy the turn it upside down.

I was thinking of a decent solution and I think I have it. Give it a quick wipe and go out buy a pizza and before she gets home throw the pizza on and cook it up for her, when she gets in say " here you go honey I cooked tea tonight I love you, you can do dishes" Should work.
