    Wild Food...wild plums

Yesterday I was strimming the yard when I thought, blow this for a joke, I shall take the dogs to the river for a swim...off we go!

While letting the dogs out of the dog box I espied a tree, a very bountiful wild plum tree!! The plums are green in colour but very sweet. Rummaged around in the ute and found a suitable bag, picked an amount of the spherical delights, and when home cooked two jar lots and had what was left over for pudding with a dollop of cream...we will be going back to visit the tree...I added a cinnamon stick

They will go well in a crumble come Winter!

Excellent EeeBees. For the uninitiated among us (namely me) what pray tell is strimming?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

And that will never end as people will continue to make up funny names for things like pluto pups

    Very nice.
At a guess, I would say that when you got home you still had the strimming to complete?

I encountered some of them in Queensland last year.

Yes, Sako75, and I have to say what was left to do is still left to do as a beautiful thunderstorm came through and that was that...hopefully will have the ergs to get it finished tomorrow after work.
