If you are so hung up on PRICE constituting quality then tell me what sort of AR you want and i will buy it brand new for you and put another thousand dollars + on it and quite happily sell it to you. That way the extra dosh you threw at it will put your mind at rest because paying more makes it way betterer...... doesnt it?
So if you were selling top quality products youd be willing to get down in the "gutter" price wise just to sell them.

Once youre there its pretty hard to convince folks in a finite marketplace that you really are selling top quality products.

Of course if you are one the people importing Chinese copied crap (No I havent seen any Chinese ARs ) and flooding the market with no spares no added value to the product then Cheapest is truly the best ...

Someone has to be the cheapest in any market place . How is it cheaper . Cheaper components being used. Seller happy with low margins (That ll catch up with you pretty quick though). No value added with spares, repair or
after sales support. No technical support.

have a look at this Stag Arms

    Stag Arms
I think that is (or nearly) the same as Digit is selling for $1899

its 1055 US, is about $1300 NZD, plus GST = about $1500, add in freight and import fees, business costs, profit (of course) etc - not hard to reach 1899

Same rifle, just a lower cost structure as are others doing it - and no retailer involved (i.e. their costs and profit etc) - its more direct to you

Yes, but im not a greedy cunt anyways. I work around the term "fair" and digits prices are very fair, not cheap. Besides, only digit knows what he is paying for them wholesale wise, hes making money or he wouldnt be in the business. It just goes to show how much other retailers have been milking this industry doesnt it?

Why? You are putting products on a pedestal based on how much money they are worth. Does paying a thousand dollars or more for exactly the same product make it somehow better than the cheaper counterpart? No it doesnt, it just means you lost out a thousand bucks.

Thats not really the case with the product we are discussing (in my experience anyway), if we were talking about cars or dishwashers or tv's or something then i would probably say yes to the above quote because they are more of a disposable luxery and are designed to break.

Movin right along.. My comment originally had f all to do with rubbishing any one particular product supplier or person. It posed a question is cheaper better.
. I cant rubbish Digits products as never owned one and would bag him or any supplier to their face first to gain satifaction before launching any form of other attack. All happy now are we ???

I can state I disagree with his marketing plan as being all price related with no mention of his good service , stocks , knowledge etc as Id include that in my way to market but thats only my opinion.

With this type of product are there that many experts that you cant extoll the virtues of your product or your own ??...I v seen shitloads of comments on here bagging
so many various AR brands suppliers etc so we,re all experts in our minds. Any how all you experts who seem to have taken this to heart, sorry for becoming emotionally involved with you it was never the intention.

Yes. Because there is pretty much nothing between brand A to brand Z quality wise when it comes to AR's so cheaper is better.

OMG I was so trying not to answer this. Pretty much nothing is not nothing between Brand A to Z.Nothing is nothing ie: No metallic quality, size, fit, tolerance, material structures, chemical properties and on and on.
That theory is a is flawed and failed analysis and may apply to somehow a consummable date sensitive product but how it applies to a firearm eludes me..
Believe it if you must. Im setting up a meeting with Peter Pan to get his opinion so sorry Im too busy to go any further with this discussion...
    PE CE MF

Wicked just the answer I was looking for originally full of truthful factual based scienticifc facts and no bull at all ..
Thanks hopefully the topic is done.

All that comment proves is that you have no real first hand experience with AR's and that you have never ever held or used a "good" one.

I go out of my way not to get ripped off but by the same token I am happy to pay a premium for quality.
