New Zealands first sub $2000 AR15

Hi forum members. Its great to finally be able to make available a sub $2000 AR15. Our AR's are produced by North Eastern Arms in Canada for which we are the NZ distributor. Our webiste NZAR15.COM, Home of the sporting Semi Auto is in its infancy but we have a nice range of products planned.

We currently have a handful of the 14.5" AR's left for sale. Guns will be available for delivery starting at the end of the week. If you have any questions please ask.

The image below is of the actual gun with the only change being a longer rail.

    Ive added some specifications below:

    Description
The NEA-15 Carbine is a gas-operated, air-cooled, magazine-fed, semi-automatic or select fire, shoulder-fired firearm. A shortened variant of the AR-15 design, the NEA-15 is available in several barrel lengths from 12.5” to 18”, allowing the end user the widest range of customization possible. The NEA-15 is not only available as a complete unit but additional complete upper receivers can be issued to provide a multi-use platform. Whether your requirement is a 12.5” Carbine or 18” Designated Marksman Rifle, we have a solution to meet your needs. The NEA-15 can be outfitted with Iron Sights, Red Dots or Magnified optics. NEA quad rails free float the barrel to provide enhanced accuracy and plenty of space to mount firearm accessories.

All NEA-15 rifles are built around our matched billet aluminum receivers. The upper is internally impregnated with a Dry-Film Lubricant to improve cycling in all weather environments. Our receivers are cut from hardened 6061 T-6 Aluminum which provides additional corrosion resistance over standard 7075 series metal. This provides our clients in costal, tropic or maritime locations with a platform that has increased environmental longevity. Standard features include a full-auto bolt-carrier group for added mass and reliability, an A2 Stock and ergonomic pistol grip. The NEA platform is also fully compatible with all .22LR conversion kits, providing a low cost training option. The rail lugs of the upper receiver and free float quad rails are laser T-marked for quick optics indexing. Our rifles feature medium profile barrel with polygonal rifling for enhanced accuracy, reliability and consistency. They are also built utilizing an 1:7 twist giving greater versatility in ammunition choices allowing heavier rounds to be used providing better range and terminal ballistics. Our barrels are treated inside and out with our proprietary ARC+ processing, an advanced form of Nitriding, further contributing to its longevity and corrosion resistance.

This platform is also available with a 12.5”, 14.5” or 18” barrel and various lengths of quad rails.
