    Tikka M695

    Hay mate

I am after a stock for the above rifle but i don't what the original stock coped.

I am after a Sako Hunter style stock, I think its from the 75 model? with the Monte Carlo cheekpiece, as well as a palm swell.

I would also like it to be a little bit longer in the front of the stock so I can have the Bipod a bit further forward.

Can this be done or am i dreaming?

I don't know much about stock making.

    Cheers
    Shane

Now thats a sexy stock, I have emailed them but no reply

What dose that stock weigh in at? 650grms?
also what sort of time did it take for the stock to arrive?

I got an email reply and will post that below

Hi Shane, yes that can be done but it would be expensive to do. I have the Sao 85 shaped stock I can do but that doesn't have a cheek piece.
A model that I have would cost $950 but to do what you are wanting could be up around $2100. Mould making is very time consuming and expensive hence the higher cost. Also the m659 would be more of a one off, where as the T3 for example are more plentiful.
Let me know what your thoughts are, we may be able to find another way around it.

    Regards

    Jason

Nah dont worry about it Jason

No worries Shane, that was for a complete stock build from scratch, however we probably could have looked at fitting into a Weatherby style stock that has a cheek piece and Monte Carlo style butt . Pleased you got it sorted out and hope you get what you want. Cheers Jason
