For a 22 it should be strong enough but that setup of rambo 6 mm rems looks superb. I guess it has hydraulic damping to prevent wobble.

Thanks to Rambo’s recommendations, I am looking into this with a table that can pivot over the chair and be locked in place. Not quite the mobile operation I envisioned, but I believe this will do the trick for plinking steel off the deck. Just sorting costs.

Those eagle eye fellas sure have a good range of rests eh
Gotta get out on my quad n bloody try mine ffs 😂😂🤬😂😂
I was thinking more of a 4x4" planted by/near the edge of the deck with a dampened swivel at the top (make from track rod end ball joint), and a gun mounted in balance. A non-overbarrel silencer will put the gun's centre of gravity forward so more gun sticks backwards to enable use from wheel chair. Keep it simple.

Actually, @Hunter_killer, a 50mm narrow wall pipe. Stuff parallel legs of rifle bipod into the top (dowel put into pipe first so the right amount of the bipod legs protrude, and some cloth around the bipod legs to avoid scratching, and to have better fit).
Weigh silencer so rifle balances on bipod.
And if dad does not like using it, perfectly resellable and reusable.

Someone try and simplify this. (-:
