May not be relevant to your situation but this is the solution I used to mount a Weaver 1" scope on my BRNO ZKW465. I didn't wish to remove the rear sight (and then lose it as is the norm). So to get absolute mimimum clearance between the scope objective and the rear sight I used a combination of Warne's 30mm QD rings and Brownell's delrin 30mm to 1" reducers. Other rings were either miles too high or too low. The scope has ended up at a nice shooting height but maybe just a tad further fwd than optimum. And my rear sight is safe from losing.

    Yes that is close
But sadly I have discovered there are several almost perfect mounts like this but they are all for 30mm scopes
That's pretty weird on a narrow rimfire base
Clearly I'm swimming in the shallow end of the pool and all the cool guys with 30mm scope are over there!
