Hi Marco, around $65NZD to ship to Canada. Make a few more posts around the forum and I will be able to Private message you.
ok thanks
How are people finding these?
hi Sixty,
So I'm from Chilliwack B.C. Canada and would love to have that resizing die
Trying to figure out how to send an email
Ok i think that you can send me an email, and if you do i'll be able to send you my address and get all the necessary info.
Thanks
Marco...you may not have been on this forum long enough to send a PM yet... Give it time.
Thank you
I've sent you the money through PayPal.
Thanks
Hi SixtyTen. Are you able to message me about purchasing one of your die sets please. Cheers.
Following as this is very interesting and might be in the market soon
I'd be keen for a set if you do another run. Thanks
Id swear by winchester dynapoint and rabbit ammo for manys the randy jacko that lost his sex drive permanently via one of these pills out my my wee stirling.
In fact quite often the damage was bloody spectacular .
Ivividly remember a night on the landlords farm (i was his cheif culler) with loyal corgi in tow casing the band of willows in the paddock .yup two horny does set the boys right off screaming yellin and scrapping .
Id shot two who spat at me ,then took sight on the arse of one the biggest jackos ive ever seen.
He spun round ugly as sin and twice as mean as from about 5' I let rip he moved and bugger me took a slug right in the boiler room leaving a massive hole in the right side of his ribcage .dog me scope torch and rifle covered in blood before he thudded to the deck like a poleaxed steer!mrs wasnt too impressed when we got back to the house !bit of a clean up before beddy byes that night .
I never had a misfire or problem with either of those rounds ,nor the subsonic version in my toz17 but thew remington subsonic shit was politely f...g diabolical so much so possums sat and laughed at me!! that shit either went "bang" or "poof" bouncing up the road like a ladyboy at a champagne picnic!!
Hi SixtyTen. If you still have a set available I'd like to purchase one please. Cannot find the link where to PM you.
The rounds that I put through this die and made a considerable hollow point, work very well on small game.
Bullet started out as a Winchester 42gn powerpoint, which had poor to average expansion on game, but with a small run through the die, it's completely transformed
Here's one I pulled from a rabbit shot at 80M last night.

Lots of doable stuff, always worth it to someone.
I would seriously buy a bag of Nosler Ballistic Tips to insert in the hollow points of CCI Velocitors to make them go trans-sonic even further out.

That's good results. I have not recovered any for a while as I pretty much exclusively head shoot bunnies. The one you recovered matches my wet pack testing results pretty closely. That was just a cardboard box full of many layers of water soaked cardboard and paper.
Hmmmm ....... Let us folks know how this goes please....
Would the likes of a hand primer work for this. Have a sliding base that cartridge goes into and squeezing the handle pushes your hollow point in.
Just thought it may be quicker and able to be done whilst watching TV .....not that I'm knocking your system, it's just something I thought could be done without having a press setup (which I don't have) I've not looked into reloading, so this may be the cheapest/easiest way overall to achieve best results.
Just putting it out there as an outsider looking in.
So it's not too left field then. As I said, I don't reload, and don't have any real ambition to do so, therefore don't have any idea of the tools involved, but thought as a simple method to "hollow point" and resize, could be an option.
It's just figuring out the tooling required to achieve what's in my mind. I don't even know if it's possible without machining something up. Some of you skilled people out there would have a better idea if it's feasible.
If so, I'd be keen to purchase....
@oraki - Google search for Lee Hand Press in New Zealand. It's a pretty good option and for $150 or so will allow you to all the hollow pointing of .22 ammo with this type of die you need. Basically the Hand Press is a really good option for pistol type rounds and smaller cases as I understand it but it needs a bit more horsepower than you can do with your hands for anything bigger. Quick easy and simple - if you think of the hand primer setup but upsize it a bit... From the sounds of the forces for hollow pointing, you could knock out a good few packets of .22LR in an hour or so watching TV.
Designing and machining a one off hand press for this would cost several times what a lee hand press would. $150 for the lee is pretty good.
My general rule with this type of thing is if there is a commercial solution available to your problem, don't bother trying to make a better (or cheaper) mousetrap.
Use my lee hand press heaps, glued some timber inserts into the alumium frame & grip it in a vice, behaves like an single stage press, often goes to the range with me so as to adjust seating depths, also use in the hollow pointing die, & decapping primers catches the primer internally, tip it upside down & they fall out. Great tool.
Good Aye to you as just joined as I'm a Aussie from across the Ditch but saying that my son and his family now resides in the South Island. I competitively shoot .22 Lr Long Distance 200 meters as been trying to get hold of a Neal Waltz Resizing Die from the States as to no avail then came across this site as it seems you have made one that is just as good if not better so could I order and purchase your .22 Sizing tool from you. Cheers
I have a few sets in stock currently.
Send an email to BlackstrandNZ@gmail.com and we can work out the details.
