Thread: .243 Barrel length, over barrel or forward mount suppressor

issue you MIGHT strike with .243 going back to minimum length is you going to struggle to get velocity high enough to keep the knock down energy....... Ive got short bush rifle and yip its neat to carry in tight stuff but Ive just spent four days lugging around another rifle with decent longer barrel and didnt really notice it as a big handicap....one bonus of longer barrel is its a bit safer in those tricky spots when you end up using it as walking stick as the muzzle usually points a bit further away....
one day someone is going to make a lot of money sticking longer barrels back onto rifles that got cut back too short.....
