    His barrel is chambered in 7mm rem mag isnt it?

    Probably not a feasible option to change that barrel to 280

    If you wanted a 7 rem mag you would have to get your bolt face opened up ($$) possible mag modifications (maybe not, but need have feeding issues etc) and then barrel screwed in and headspaced etc

    Would be easier to find a 7mm08 barrel and get it reamed to 280 mate
