Thread: 50,000 ton press

ok I have decided to build a 50,000 ton press. I will need some help with the heavy bits, anyone keen to lend a hand next weekend?

Might need a lot of beer to repay the favours on that one.The re routing of the kiwi rail net work to take away the parts made may be a issue also.

What are ya gonna use it for?

Link seems to go to a rocket doco ....but I know someone in chch with a really big press, (picture one that fills a whole 6mx3m garage....) I think his weights about 12 tone, but dont know how much "squash" it has....I know the ram and top rail is about 5 ton.

I’ll give you a hand as long as I can use it for reloading, my arm gets tired after pressing 20. ��

3D printers are so last week. 50,000 ton presses are so today!
