@Link. The javelin IS expensive. especially as I lost one out of my pocket. Its still laying in the tussock at Carkeek Ridge in Tarries. That's only disadvantage, how to carry them. I have a belt pouch for 2ns one, but that is inclined to come unlatched.. So I tie nylon around the flap. Or if wearing rain jacket, carry in breast pocket, zipped up. Don't find difficult to setup after spotting animals. Locking the extending legs took bit getting used to. Like the weight, lots

@Doghead. 22-284will be a rocket! I initially looked at going from 22-243 to 6mmTTH. (bit faster .224 bullet). Kiwi Greg actually put me onto the 22-243. was the simplest of that sort calibre to resize cases. Hoping 6mm will last 1000 rounds, will be happy with that.
