    7m08 to 7mmwsm ?

    Is this possible ? And what would be the cost ? . Am I better to sell one and buy the other ?

    Open up bolt head. Mag would also need changed. Feed rails also to accommodate fatter case.

    Didn't think about mag , I think it's sell and buy another , unless there is some big advantage in accuracy if it's reamed by a gun smith ?

    Huge advantage for long range, no advantage for short range. Realistically 7mm08 would get you somewhere around 500-600m for hunting max, the 7mmwsm would add another 200m to that.

    These are very ballpark figures.
