AIL Cat A stock on an AR15

So I wanted to make an adjustable butt plate for my AR15 AIL stock. This is as far as I have got so far, just a prototype but Ive only had the 3D printer 4 days....Name: 20160716_071216[1].jpg

Nice one. What's the story with the adjustable, yet a-cat stock? Is it not considered 'telescopic' because you need tools to adjust the LOP?

Saw it, carbine only? Also I want to use a rear bag and a cheek rest as I shoot prone so the big lower hole will have a 20mm aluminium tube epoxied into it to slide on the bag.

I was wondering the same thing? That AIL version must fit the e cat rules surely, not because of the pistol grip, but because its telescopic?

Glu's new adjustable AIL stocks are approved by Plod for A-Cat.
Send him a PM with questions.

they are not quickly adjustable, and requires tools to do so, therefore legal.

much like in the old days when people would jam/lock an adjustable stock to a fixed length

Hmm that might be an issue I didnt fully consider, my one is meant to be adjustable but nothing as crude and fast as a telescopic on a MSSA. I thought I might have to make the butt piece adjustable via packing and screws rather than wheel, that might be essential might have a chat with my AO.

We have an E-Cat version that will also work with chassis systems that use the commercial carbine buffer tube . We are working on a cheek riser but I don't know if or when that will be ready. Name: E-Cat Ar.jpg

Just put one of our standard butt stocks with bag rider on an mdt chassis and dropped my 300 blk into it . My eye lines up nice with the MDT stock .
