    Arisaka project

Hello I am considering trying to see if I can find an arisaka at Guncity to restore. I was reading a thread about some people who were going to give it a go and I wondered if it is worth it? Not expecting to make money but want to learn and feel this is a good (cheapish) way to do this and end up with a worth while project as I love military surplus rifles. Got to see if I can find one with a matching bolt, intact wood and all the metalwork first- I might be lucky at this stage as all the good ones have probably been poached. Hoping for some thoughts and tips from people who have given it a go?

Search on here it’s been talked about before.
One of the strongest actions if you can find a 39 to 40 model.
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.

Yes I have read a good thread on here, I was just wondering if anyone else had had success restoring one through Guncity. Seems like a great action and a worthy addition to my ww2 bolt action collection!
