    @madjon_ and @GDMP were on the money.

    Put barrel in the vice and used a piece of copper wire to hang a dive weight off the lug. Heated both sides using a little chef torch and a bernzomatic propane torch.
    Came off quite promptly.
    Had to do a reheat to get all of the solder off, and quick wipe with wet cotton rag.
    Cold blue pasted it whilst it was warm.

    Taped around the sight pin and used hacksaw blade to remove, then rounded over with sharp file. That would not take the bluing paste, so used a drop of black nailpolish type stuff that was designed for car touch ups.
