    The morning after.

    Last night I realised that even though I'd taken care not to overdo the PU glue, there was too much. Result, pocket of still-liquid glue in a pocket behind the hardened glue. So I twisted the knob around a bit to break the crust and let air/moisture to the liquid glue. Worked pretty well by this morning. I'll run in bit more PU glue which should expand into the rest of the gap.
