    Hugh Bradley years ago had a lot of surplus BSA parts. Might be worth contacting him in Alex maybe? He did the trigger work on my Hunter 257 Ackley, nice job (again years ago)

    Yes, to a point. The straight case caused the holdup when going into the chamber if you didn't stroke the bolt fast. This is due to the controlled feeding and overall length of loaded round not being long enough to line up without binding, when tipping into chamber.

    @Mathias isn’t that the truth! I’ve just finally got my little 6x45 feeding properly from the first round to the last. Some much buggerising around to get it to work with that BSA extractor and a lengthened mag box. Bloody lucky I got it nutted out, because tempers were getting frayed......
    Modified rifles so often supply headaches

    Did you have to some milling of action for the longer mag box?

    Yes, the rear of the mag well gets lengthened and the bolt stop needs to be shortened to increase the bolt stroke. The hardest part is folding up a new mag box, takes quite a bit of trial and error to get right.
