Saw some cherry red in George Henry & Co. Surprised me to see it there to be honest, it's not very common. They had a decent selection of fairly uncommon chemicals. Someone mentioned that cherry red had changed their chemical composition and it no longer gave good spark on soft flintlock frizzens, but I don't have firsthand knowledge on that. Obviously won't give the case colour either, which is I think what OP was talking about.
