DIY auto-trickler
Following some Youtube inspiration, plus a bit of electrical know-how from a relative, I put together a basic auto-trickler. It uses a couple relays, a motor, and a photoswitch, and relies on the scale beam to break the circuit. I specifically used a Lee scale for it's sensitivity, and made a few tweaks to improve it's function.
It's not an essential gadget, but looks cool and works surprisingly well. Happy to share parts/schematic if helpful.

I bought some rubber band pulleys and a 4.5v motor from a model shop. Drilled a plastic pulley out to the correct dia that I could just slide it over the trickler tube. It worked really well but wasn’t an auto trickler, more of a manual motorised trickler.
Your set up also looks much tidier.
