DIY Disc Sander, for fitting recoil pads to gun stocks

Hang in there, it's a bit of a long story... but I get there in the end.

So, a couple weeks ago my weed whacker finally died after 15 hard years of abuse. The string head disintegrated and parts went flying to the four corners of my paddock! The motor still went, so not being the type to get down about things like this I saw an opportunity...

I started to think, hmmm... bacon.... 22cc 2-stroke engine.... Kate Moss.... is 7mm better than .30cal... bacon.... oh yeah, that's right focus, make something good out of that shitty old weed whacker motor.

    And finally it became this:

Now I know I've lost you...where's the disc sander, what the Fuck?????

Well it was the left over grip tape from the deck that gave me another idea...yes, the disc sander.

    So here it is:

Works great...crank it up to 2000rpm and watch stuff turn to dust right in front of your eyes! It's one of those tools you'll find uses for, then wonder how you've got by this far in life without one
