A couple of pics. 3rd go (point pattern) and 4th go (infill pattern) .
Getting the hang of the basics now.
2nd attempt was abandoned , sanded off and restarted. (cant rush this stuff)

Looking good man. I have finished my first stock. Many mistakes made, majority due to not taking my time. Second will be better
They're works of art. You should be proud of that work
Super tidy there mate. You should be very proud.
Thanks for the positive comments guys.
Still have two of my stocks to do but the tools are too blunt now, will have to get some better quality gear.
Cheers NRF.
That looks awesome . Patience galore
Very nice, you got steady hands for that art work.
Very Impressed with your patience & determination. Well Done
When you get some carbide tools, make sure you get a 75 deg cutter. Use that for the border around the outside, looks a lot neater than a 90 deg. You’ll see what I mean when you see it.
Also, get into finer pitch work. It’s not as hard as you think and is actually less cutting as the diamonds are smaller (less depth required to point them up)
Nice work there, youd be pleased with that. I will try the 75 deg cutter (got it nice and sharp now) for the borders on the one I am doing now.
The carbide cutter thats coming from ullman is 90 deg.
I have 20 lpi spacer so could try that on the next stock (currently using 16 lpi)
Thanks for the tips.
