    Duracoat express

I'm very happy with Duracoat (supposedly not nearly as good as Ceracoat so I'll have to try that sometime). Wanted to see if I could QUICKLY make a decent pattern.

Bought these colours, had CADPAT GREEN and WHITE on the shelf.

    Degreased.
Base layer of LIGHT GRAY whilst wet freckled with COYOTE BROWN.
Dried 1 hour in from t of the lamp (this was not enough for masking tape).
Put on premade Flectarn masking tape.
    Frecked with OD GREEN.
Used a piece of paper for partial masking and freckled with LIGHT GRAY.
Let it dry for a few minutes and removed all masking tape.

The day after I put on a decent amount of masking stencils.
Sprayed CADPAT LIGHT GREEN, freckled this with OD GREEN.
Waited a few minutes, removed all masking and put on WHITE highlights through a pierced piece of paper.
Left to dry overnight, swiped it barely with 1200 grit sanding paper just to remove edges.

Thrashed myn in the bush for a year. My ceracote is worn from rubbing on my back on one edge but no chips. Suppose if I was using it as a walking stick it would chip.
