It's a trueflight ultra match in 303 apparently. Will get Robbie to slug it when he fits but my rangi slug suggests it is what it was supposed to be. 308 would be nice but 311 works too

So the receiver is a genuine T? or a "copy"

    ?

If you are doing this to a real T I might cry...

    Enfield No4 T build

No - its a replica/copy in all forms but correct mounts, scope etc
If I had a real T I'd bolt the scope on and it would be done

I have a box of other random bits that I cant be arsed finding and laying out , just waiting for receiver to arrive then can ship it off to Gunworks

Ah right, if its a tight barrel 308s might shoot very well in it anyway. Im hoping to get a 4T stock which is/was a 308w.

    regards

I'm pretty happy with the replica scope. It's nice and clear and the turrets feel good.
The plan is to get the barrel etc setup and bedded and shoot it to check POI then fit the scope and pads to the natural POI and then send it out for reparking.
My butt is an S so have the check how its length is when fitted up or might have to search for a new set of timber.

be interesting to see if the barrel is a true .311" all indications are that it will be. Would be a bit more versatile for you if it was 308 tho

Action flex ? I thought that was the whole point of the four . Do you think , for a hunting rifle , that one of the "smithless" mounts would be better ? . I want to make a hunter based on a four but with a one piece ( Winchester ) stock , so I will have to get rid of the wrist metal, just gotta find an action , or a shitter rifle for parts
They are deff different to what I have
Would be interested to see one, however its pretty spendy if its shite
