    EOI for Gunsmith

I am not 100% sure where to place this, so if it is wrong please move for me.

As we are going for the NSSF 5 star rating for the range, we do require a gunsmith to be on duty for 2 days a week minimum. While we do not have the budget to employ someone we have come up with an idea. Why not rent the space which was to be used for the gunsmith to a potential small business owner wanting to make a bit extra on the side.

So we have a space 17"11' by 12' with internal access to the reception area and its own exit to the range for "rent" to anyone who wishes to start their own small business. We can negotiate on the rent, as well as prices for servicing the range rifles, so it would mean at least some scheduled work.

But as I believe in playing it forward and people have given me a chance (my investors) I will give another small business a chance. If anyone is interested please message me your details and I will be in contact.

Curious why are you working in feet and inches?
If i did that for work, nothing would fit where it's supposed to go

Cause the plans are American and they use funny units of measurement.

In Non- American it is 5.4m by 3.6m.

Its only a small office, I understand that but its something for someone who maybe wants to open a small business but is having issues finding space and/or a location. Maybe they could do basic stuff there and take more complex stuff away? Maybe they could offer a cleaning service and such?

I understand what you are saying Sako75, thanks for the input, if it is too small will just turn it into something else, maybe a locker room.

What about trying to get a small retailer in there? The cynic in me suggests that most of these guys try to pass themselves off a part time Gunsmiths anyways...

It had crossed my mind and have contacted the major gun retailers in the area, but sadly none have accept the offer. It would be perfect for a small part time business setup.

Great idea, thanks for the input.

Opps - read your other post now, so figured it out. Shame as it was a good offer, but I've done the Auckland thing before and not keen on going back there to live.
