I inherited a twin wheel grinder that Ai plan on using for sharpening my lathe wood chisels and the odd bits and pieces. Looking for a dressing stone to tidy the wheels up as who knows what's been over those stones in the 15years that I know of it being in he woodshed.
Will try and take some pics later today as wonder if I'm needing news wheels. Had a quick look at trade me and discovered that for under $200 I could get a brand new one albeit lower wattage but with aluminium oxide wheels.
So folks, a source of dressing tools? And is it worth the trouble of changing wheels?
Pictures to come
If it's a decent grinder, it'll be worth changing wheels. Particularly because you can then put some decent wheels on it for sharpening - such as white AlOx instead of the standard grey/brown AlOx.
