Thread: Handy tools to make for 2 piece stock making.

Since we are discussing butchering rifles, stocks etc...I confess to shortening my Baikal single shot shottie from its standard 28" down to 18" with my Swiss Army knife fingernail file

At 28" it was way too unwieldy for split second opportunities at deer with buckshot in a certain part of the country, so sawed it off. And only took 5 minutes. That fingernail file was pretty aggressive, and looked and felt none the worse for wear after that little exercise
