    Induction Annealer project parts swap

For those of us that have gone down this path, and due to limitations on bits getting here from Ali express or where ever, are finding it hard to get what you need. i thought I would start this thread.

i have some spare bits that did arrive but are no longer needed just to kick it off.

    Solenoids https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...548a4c4dWXFMOx
They have the longer stroke to accomodate the trap door travel. They are really expensive here and these were $15 landed.
Looking to recoup my costs if anyone needs one or two ( I have two)

Good idea. I bought 2 of just about everything while I was ordering for spares or replacements if I fucked them up.

Don’t suppose you got a spare pump or temp sensor? My pumps never left China and the temp sensors, who would know.

Just a question for ya, when you get the annealer going how are you going to work out how much heat to give it so it's at the right softness?

I reckon you could put templaque into repurposed nail varnish bottles, I'll see what I have left when I do my toenails next.

So finally got around to putting mine together today.

Still need the pump. Does anyone know a local option to use instead of aliexpress?

This is the pump I got from Trademe Listing #: 2925717135
I am waiting for my Solid State Relay and 12v Power Supply to arrive,
I am keen on getting a small amount Tempilaq to set up my annealing times,

I actually did put some Templaque into nail varnish bottles, but that was a few months ago and it all sold pretty quick. If there is enough interest I might do it again. Need a minimum of 3 peoples.

Ok I will get some in when they go back to work, I will just get the one flavour can be either 750 or 800'F you three can thrash it out or I can make an executive decision and get 800'F. It tends to dry out in the bottle regardless of what you do so some acetone will dilute it or I can decant some of their stuff into bottles too. Will let you know the price.

I see they are not back untill the 11th, hope they have it in stock
