    Good on ya! I love tinkering with stuff too but I don't think I'm brave enough to do that to my rifles. Only one way to really learn though and that's by getting stuck into it.

    Currently steaming and sanding a Parker Hale stock that will be oil rubbed. So nowhere near as dramatic

    Cheers, I figured worst case scenario I would end up having to order a nice Boyds one to replace it, and that really isn't a bad scenario!
