    JW15 trigger overtravel

This has got to be the single best thing I’ve done to my JW15. It’s a great little rifle and quite accurate, but the 4 miles of overtravel in the trigger has always annoyed me. Just didn’t feel like a ‘real’ rifle to me. So I spent a bit of time thinking about how to rectify it after finding basically nothing on the ‘net about how to sort it. I came up with what I thought was a stellar solution, and turns out it’s exactly what Bruno did on their later model 1’s…. Easy job, and makes a HUGE difference to how the rifle feels now.

Just means you have to push the trigger forward to remove the bolt.

I agree, the biggest issue with these rifles is the trigger drift pins come loose and mine has even gone off with a knock as the sear isn't really enough grab.

Thats interesting as I have a 1980's jw15 and I have aways had to push the trigger forward to get the bolt out.
