Found 10x 500 3" cases I forgot I had
That brings it up to 35 rounds total on hand once I load them
That's 3 or 4 shoulder crushing sessions there

Sorting out and shifting some of my huge old shop sign collection

Ah those were the days
Remember when good coffee only cost $2.80

I found enough cafe menus like the coffee one to line a whole wall in my new machine shop area
O the simplicity of that menu.... And soy was 50c back then, but no almond/oat/rice/coconut
Had a tidy up and found I have at least a dozen small tiedown strops, and a decent collection of big ones. Now tidily rolled up on a shelf
Nothing. I'm OCD about everything, the wife on the other hand...
found a security camera thats been waiting to be installed since i cant remember when
I knew I had a lot of truck blankets from when I sent Joinery all over the country
Chucked 30 of the roughest ones in the fire pile but there are still about 150 left !

At the rate I'm going I should have the 30m2 junk catch all cleaned out by the time SI goes to level 3 and I go back to work
Then it will be a dedicated machine shop
@akaroa1 - my garage looks about as crowded as yours - only it’s two utes, a car and a motorbike that’s filling it. (And about a gazillion parts etc for them)
It doesn't usually look that bad
But I'm shifting everything out of the machine shop space
Some will go to the timber store
Some will be kept
I have found enough left overs to insulate and line the 30m2 area
Found all the power points and light switches I need
Have enough circuits left on the mains to do it all
Just need to relocate two 3 phase circuits there
Anything you can see that you want just ask
...a wife and kids? :O_O:
Ya gotta love lockdown: lots of firearms to clean, fondle, dream about using again.....lots of fishing gear to upgrade, sort, maintain, dream about using again....how did we cope without lockdowns?
Found enough polystyrene insulation in my site container and timber store to insulate the entire ceiling area of the new machine shop

I just wish a few more of my hand tools were home and not miles away on my building site
sorry...in previous life I shifted furniture...and that is a "thing" that fellas nearly come to blows over.....we fixed one chap and folded all his blankets into triangles one day...another day we tied them all to ceiling of the furniture truck.oh what fun times.
Sorry
I long folded some to stop the stacks from being unstable
Like stacking timber with fillet
At least it didn't roll them up like trendy bath towels are on all the house make over programs
good...Im a longfold guy LOL.
I know I had all the wall insulation
I just didn't plan on doing this job until summer
So a bloody forgot to bring home the vital tool I need to cut it all with
Also sitting on my building site
The only thing I brought home from work the Tuesday before the shit hot the fan was my lunch box
Not much need for that when its lunch at home every day !
your trusty ginsu2000 or similar cerated kitchen knife work fine...just be carefull because those suckers HURT when your hand gets in the way. most handsaws work too...just messy.
Wall insulation is not poly
Vastly more challenging to deal with and very heavy
Hence it's not going in the ceiling
Having all my portable power tools somewhere else is like when they were all off limits in central CHCH after the big quake !
A very large puddle of radiator coolant on the ute floor.
Forgot I had a .50 BMG round left over. Decided to listen to music have a few whiskeys and polish it up some, for display purpose ya know.
Why that posted two massive pictures is beyond me but anyway....
Beware the man who only has 1 round :)
I'm starting a pile for you @Mauser308 while I go through the next shed
The makings of a nice off grid tiny home especially for you
12/24 V fridge
Gas oven
Wash tub
Hand basin

And found two huge commercial doors that will do nicely for the new machine shop

Wouldn't have expected to have this many short clear offcuts and overruns of Joinery timber

What did I find that I’d forgotten about?
Amongst other things I found I had a Stevens and a Savage single shot 22, one dated August 1913.
And found the Stevens bolt will fit the Savage - but won’t function!
