Got another two on the go at the moment, a bit shorter in the blade, but they have a nice heft to them.

The steel saw blade they were made from is 6mm thick, high speed steel, the main reason I used the file for all the work was to keep heat out of the steel, I dont have any hardening experience or the gear to do it. They hold an edge very well.

I have a nice one here that has been around longer than I have,
I bet the owners of yours are very happy.
