Need a couple of M1 (1mm) x 10mm bolts plus nuts for a small vaguely hunting-relating, but not gunsmithing project. Can't find them anywhere in NZ. Any suggestions? Cheers.

A model shop? One that specialises in motorised boats or cars??
M1 Not listed but worth a call, I have always found these guys helpful

Aliexpress is your friend (in this case).
I have some really small nuts. And bolts, not sure of the thread. What material?
Thanks for the replies. AliExpress was the first thing that popped up on Google of course, but I can't be bothered to wait 3 months on this occasion.
40mm - Material doesn't matter. Thread doesn't matter either as long as the bolt and nuts are compatible, but they do need to be about 10mm long. Cheers.
Just had a look in the workshop, I have some very small model engineers bolts, some 1.65 diameter by 6.2 long and some 2.15 diameter by 9.5 long if you think you could get them to work. I am in Northland (Whangarei) as well and would be happy to send you half dozen of each (with nuts) for free Cheers Darren
There's M1.4 and M1.6 available here: https://nz.rs-online.com/web/c/faste...700,4291706543
I just checked and can only find 2.6mm sorry.
I have 2mm x 8mm with nylocs if any use. You might need to enlarge the hole a fraction.
element14 or radio spares would be a good place to start.
Try the boltholder in Matamata. Probably won't have m1 but might have 1.6 or similar size imperial thread. They have an online store.
Oh, if anyone wants I have a stash of M16's in the shed too.
Hi MB, if all else fails I probably have some obsolete BA screws and nuts. Let me know if required and I’ll go and measure.
Found something suitable in Mitre10 of all places. Could have got a hundred for the same price from China, but whatever. Thanks for all the offers of assistance.

I was going to suggest buying kids toy and pulling it apart, they always seem to have tiny metal components holding them together.....light fittings have tiny brass bolts/screws that seem to fit shotgun bead threads rather well....
@40mm - I hope those M16s in your shed are bolt guns! :D
