Made this up many years ago.
We may all have to do this if the crazy bunch in Wellington carry on with 'ban this, ban that'.
I made the stock from Red Beech and it is lovely wood to work with.
I cut the barrel down in length, and also trimmed it down a tad (it was a typical target rifle fatty).
This is a very nice rifle to use, and with the target trigger it is a pleasure to shoot.
From memory this is the Model 12 Martini action BSA target rifle (I'm sure someone will tell if I'm wrong).
Would be nice as a .17 too and I have toyed with that idea lately.
These old girls come up nice, and certainly different to the usual rifles you will see out in the field.
The scope is an old German 'B. Nickel Marburg/L' (so a Nickel scope made in Marburg Germany I guess).
