Thread: Mauser 6mm Rem project build

Ive had a nice 98 Mauser action sitting about for some time. It had a nice custom safety installed and timney trigger. I later aquired an old 30's style stock from an 8mm sporter.
I was still trying to figure out what I wanted so I asked on the forum if anyone had any mauser barrels kicking around, and was rewarded with a magnificant donation of a parker hale 6mm Rem barrel from Tentman! Much kudos for paying it foward and I shall endevour to do the same.
I dropped off all these bits to Allan Carr a few days ago with the request: Please make barrel bits stick to action bit, make metal bits pretty and blued, and make metal bits fit in wood bits.
Hopefully in a couple of months there will be a re-creation of these bits into a nice light 6mm!
