About LinkBacksHi all, I have not been slack over the xmas period, all through my waist line has with all the xmas nibbles, so what this means is I have made another barrel. Now this time I reamed it to .450" then honed the bore smooth for rifling, six groves with a twist of 1-18" and then I bored out the chamber for the 45-70 cartridge. Came out a treat, the cartridge plonks in nicely and have lapped and polished the bore with 1,200 emery , so improving my system for better barrels.

Well it looks like it plonked to nicely as it`s been snapped up and on the way down to the main land. So we should see a project in the making of a new back country howitzer.
