About LinkBacksIve got a 30-338 win mag, which is the 7mm Rem Mag necked out to 30 cal. You could get a Remington long action and enlarge the bolt face to fit the magnum case, and then you could almost do any magnum calibre you want. Mine put a 155g out at 3400fps and by the chart drops 24 moa over 900m, but yet to be proven on the range. A 260 Rem or 260AI would also work for a long range gun.
