Killwell have Gamebore 16g 2 1/2" cartridges due in stock in May, according to their website at least.

Gun all cleaned up nicely and ready to go hunting, from the look of serial number it looks pre WW1 so its had a bit of history behind it and hopefully a few more outings. The stock had a couple of cracks but all fixed up, i haven’t had a chance to sort out reloading but might have to sort
Something out later, made a 16ga to 28ga adapter so at least I have something to go bang.

I always thought 16ga was the sweet spot between the 12gs and 20ga in a single package, and underrated. For that reason, I'd keep it 16ga and take it for a walk occasionally.

Definitely keeping it 16ga it just needs 2 1/2” ammo so the reloading looks to be the best option so will have to get some brass cases and other items to have a go. Certainly looking forward to see how it goes, an oldie but feels nice.

Looking forward to see how it goes as only ever used 12ga and .410 had a .410 as a 12 year old loved that for bring rabbits and hares
to the table, rabbit pie mmm and a lovely hare stew, always used to be something hanging up in my grandmothers back kitchen, pheasant
had to hang a fair few days before plucking and cooking.
60 years since I had a Webley & Scott given to me by my parents so this Birmingham gun brings a load of memories back.
